I have kubuntu gutsy gibbon, and never had problems updating the system. Suddenly, whenever I try to update, or to install a program, I get the same error message. For example: E:/var/cache/apt/archives/googleearth_4.2.205.5730-0medibuntu1_i386.deb: files list file for package `kdf' is missing final newline
I already tried to deinstall and reinstall kdf (neither of which worked), used aptitude and synaptic, and tried everything I could think of, but nothing helped
